• A very warm welcome, wonderful room and very comfortable bed! This was booked at short notice to be near family and young children staying at Pentewen Sands campsite nearby, and this made for a lovely walk past the little harbour and across the beach. Highly recommended.

  • My friend and I spent 3 days in this wonderful B&B. It was a great stay, and the owner was so helpful with everything. The breakfasts in the sunshine were a feast. The room was so quirky, and everything was laid on. There is a rear veranda - make sure to check this out. Great beach one minute away!

  • A light and cosy place to stay in this lovely picturesque village, beside Pentewan Sands. The room was so comfy, impeccably clean, warm (in November), peaceful, pleasant decor, lovely little moon design sink plug (it's the little things!), lots of storage space with a walk in wardrobe, and a good shower. Breakfast was plentiful, and they were accommodating to preferences /dietary needs with plenty of choice. The cosy cafe is open most days with a warm fire burning, comfy sofas, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a good selection of tea and coffee, lunch menu, and a delicious selection of cake (the apple tart was yummy) The ladies welcome you with open arms, very kind, friendly, and accommodating. One of the nicest B&Bs I've enjoyed, in the many places I've stayed for work or leisure. I would 100% stay here again ☺️

  • Great atmosphere very friendly staff. Cosy and interesting interior. Gorgeous, tasty cheese pasties, excellent garlic bread and lovely traditional Cornish cream tea. Very reasonably priced. 4 adults all full and satisfied for £31.20. Definitely worth a visit. We will definitely go again.

  • I stayed at The Cove for a few days in July and was immediately enchanted by the place. Pentewan is lovely, very quiet and relaxed, with a very nice beach only a few minutes walk from the guesthouse itself was very nice and the people who ran it were very welcoming and accommodating. The building itself is amazing, part 17th, part 19th century. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. I loved the breakfasts and was Dad that’s I didn’t get an opportunity to have one of their Cornish pasties!

  • We stayed for four nights in the blue room at the Cove and it couldent have been any better. Alison and Gill are fantastic hosts, always going the extra mile for there guests. The cooked breakfast each morning was perfect, on the last morning we departed early so missing breakfast but had a cream tea instead with freshly cooked scones, in the day. Bedroom was spotless with coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Fantastic shower with instant hot water at all times. Great location.next door is a shop that sells gifts, ice creams and other items, which they also own, walking distance to the beach and a couple of pubs. All in all a very good stay, will defiantly be back next year.

  • We had a planned trip to the Eden Project but hadn't booked anywhere to stay. Once we were there we drove around the lanes and ended up in this small seaside village. Luckily The Cove had a room for the one night we planned to stay. We were made to feel welcome by all the staff the moment we walked in, the place also had a welcoming feeling. Our room was lovely and clean. Although there weren’t any towels, due to the room not being booked until we had, these were fore coming the moment it was mentioned. I normally hate showers in B&B's as it takes forever to work them out and get the right ratio of hot & cold water, not in our en-suite. The bed was so comfortable we both slept well. One thing I look forward to staying in a B&B is a good ol' fry up for breakfast. Again, wasn't…
